One woman narrowly eluded death in the Las Vegas shooting, with the help of her iPhone.
The unidentified woman told a taxi driver on her way home that her rose gold iPhone had saved her life, and he took a picture of it. The back of the device was totally shattered, after it was struck full force by one of Stephen Paddock’s bullets.

This unidentified woman was one of the many victims of Stephen Paddock who opened fire on thousands of concert goers from his room in the Mandalay Bay Hotel, killing at least 59 people and injuring more than 500 others. Thousands more were forced to flee the grounds of the country music festival on Las Vegas Boulevard.
Police say Paddock’s attack lasted for 11 minutes, before he committed suicide, just as officers stormed his hotel room.
23 weapons were found in the room, including several high powered assault rifles. Explosives and countless rounds of ammunition were also found in his home.
According to Paddock’s brother, who was dumbfounded by the event, this mass murder came without warning.
